An electricity meter or a watt hour meter measures the electrical energy passing through the meter and may be single-phase or Three-phase. The validation test assures that the measurement errors can be kept within the desired limits. We use the comparison method for conducting Energy meter validation test. By comparing Energy meter parameters with actual measured parameters using High End Power analyzer, decides uncertainty between these two reading. Energy Meter Validation test should be carried out periodically to ensure energy used parameters are within limit or not.
